The villa was quite beautiful, well situated and very private. Roberta and Angelo were great hosts and available for whatever assistance required, even out of hours. the team of this house is always reachable and they help us at any time. the pool is beautiful and we wanted to stay all day! the most beautiful beach in this area is 5 minutes from the house by car. otherwise you have to drive quite a bit to discover the spots. Sardinia is big. you should know that the house's wi-fi hardly works. if you plan to work with it, you will quickly get annoyed. Sardinia imposes strict sorting of trash. since we are not used to sorting in 4 and following the schedule every day to take out the trash, it was annoying. It's a matter of habit. Otherwise , the house is nice as well as Roberta&Angelo.Posted on AirbnbAzza2 July 2019Roberta & Angelo, are amazing host, really helpful, quick with responses and went over and beyond to ensure our holiday was prefect. Recommending great local restaurants, activities, boat trips and the private cooking classes. The villa, is even more incredible than the pictures. Sea views from the terrace are out of this world. The villa has all the amenities which accommodated for our group. As we were a large group all the living/ social areas fit us comfortably. All the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable for a good night sleep.The area, villa is a short walk to beach and local food shop, we hired a car which was really useful to get around. Separation of upstairs and downstairs worked very well for our large party of adults and children. Quiet location, all the amenities for cooking feast at home, a fabulous pool, helpful hosts, a lovely restaurant near by and a short walk to the most spectacular beach.Posted on AirbnbKasper26 August 2017If you wish to be near Stintino's beaches you find no better house than this one. It a great house that sits within walking distance of a coastline that offers great views of spectacularly clear water against the background of pretty islands. The house is generously proportioned and well-furnished for a large group like ours (4 couples and one single adult). Three of the bedrooms have aircon, and the others are cool at night without it. The house's many bathrooms function well, and its kitchen is well-equipped. Dining tables inside and outside the house easily accommodate a group the size of ours.The pool is wonderfully large and set in a lovely colourful garden right next to the house. The roof terrace offers spectacular views of the nearby sea whose water is probably the most attractive anywhere in Europe. The agency that deals with the house is responsive and helpful. A pool-man and a gardener come around every day. Our only small gripe is that the closest beach (10 minutes walking distance away) is more of a pool-club than a beach. It has only a few feet of sandy access to the sea-water (but, in an unusual feature for a beach, has a large swimming pool). To spend time on the beach itself (rather than in the adjacent bar or the restaurant) guests have to hire deck chairs at high daily rates. About 20-25 minutes walking distance from the house is another beach that some guide-books consider one of the best in Europe; but it is exceptionally busy (in high season) and virtually completely covered in parasols all day. We made good use of our cars, both for shopping (there are no supermarkets within walking distance) and for sightseeing, and we found the beaches near Alghero somewhat less crowded and a lot more attractive than the ones near the house. Alghero is a must-see destination anyway. It is a city with a wonderfully well-preserved and charming old town. Separately the drive along the coastline just south of Alghero is very attractive. Stintino town is cute and attractive as well but be prepared to find it difficult to park there unless you go in the siesta hours.Posted on AirbnbLee14 August 2017I recommend this villa.
